Formerly "Tuck-It-Away Storage", Extra Space Storage is a unique business model.  They specialize in temporarily retrofitting defunct industrial buildings as interim self-storage facilities until such time that a more profitable long-term use can be found.  Rather than let the buildings sit vacant and potentially deteriorate, they preserve and maintain them for future use.  Manhatta Architecture, P.C. provided architectural surveys for a number of their properties in the Bronx.
